Just check out what goes on around you, nobody could make this stuff up. Could anyone (other than a satirist) have thought up the Litvinenko poisoning story? Does anyone (with at least half a brain) really believe David Kelly committed suicide?
The world is run by, and for, psychopaths. What other type of persona would have the insane self-belief to be crazy enough to try running the world?
Consider the Cold War. The "defence" of the West was predicated on Mutually Assured Destruction - the calculated, deliberate, premeditated mass-murder of millions of non-combatants on both sides. Genocide on a planetary scale.
And people call me crazy.
