Raining hard all day in preparation for the Murrayfield concert. According to the Mediawhores the rain didn't dampen the enthusiasms of "anarchists" in Stirling. I never believe what I read in the press anyway.
I took a turn round Princes Street of the evening but all was quiet. Anyone who was anyone was presumably at Murrayfield, fortunately for them the rain having stopped by 17:00 or so.
The only excitement in Edinburgh appeared to have been programmed for in advance by the authorities.
